An excellent OCCAtunity

We had a brilliant time last Friday hosting OCCA (Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics) for a Sixth Form event at Townsend. We were joined by Philosophy and Ethics students from Loreto, NBS, Samuel Ryder, Sandringham, SJL and Verulam. Along with the whole of Townsend sixth form as an extension to their learning for life. The students enjoyed joining in with an interactive and engaging session exploring Christian apologetics. There were a number of excellent questions asked which Cristo and Tom, expert apologists from OCCA, responded to with well thought through answers. With questions ranging from AI to the US election along with the Christian response to LGBTQ+. It was great to work with OCCA again and we look forward to continue working with them from time to time in the future.
