After 756 Days, We Return

What a delight it has been to be back in STAGS this week. We were last in the school In February 2020 and this is the first opportunity we’ve had to go back as visitors to the school have been restricted to help keep their students safe.

This week we have seen four of the year 8 classes exploring ‘Who is Jesus’. Each class have been fantastic and totally different, but they have all asked some fantastic questions. These are just a couple of examples:

-       Why did Jesus have to die? If God is all powerful, why couldn’t he fix things without killing His Son?

-       Even if you don’t believe Jesus’ claim to be the Son of God is true, do you have to believe he existed as a person?

They definitely threw over some challenges, but it was a joy to meet this wonderful bunch of young people for the first time. I’m looking forward to the rest of the lessons next week!
